Collection, use and disclosure of personal information

We collect personal information about our staff, volunteers and supporters, as well as the families whose lives we aim to improve. In general, the type of personal information Rebalance the Globe collects and holds includes names, addresses, contact details, donations made and other information to assist us in providing our services. Rebalance the Globe only collects personal information that is necessary for what we do. In general, Rebalance the Globe uses and discloses your personal information for the following purposes:

You have the right to request access to personal information which Rebalance the Globe holds about you and to advise us of any perceived inaccuracy. The Commonwealth Privacy Act does set out some situations where you are not entitled to access this information. To make a request, you will need to complete an application form verifying your identity and specifying what information you require. A fee may be charged for providing access. We will advise you of the likely cost in advance.
