Open Garden Weekend - 18th and 19th October 2008

The open garden day at "Tanglewood", the home of Cathy and Terry Harris was a successful weekend with over 700 attending and enjoying wandering through the tranquility of this magnificent garden.

The weather was gorgeous with many stopping to enjoy morning tea, lunch or afternoon tea under the pergola or in the sunken courtyard area while relaxing and admiring the harmony between the house and the garden.

Trivia Night - 11th October 2008

TriviaOz hosted a entertaining evening and it seemed a fun night was had by all (especially those who one the prizes). The team from Allied Pickfords were the champions on the night. Faye Romas prepared the most delicious supper.

Sausage Sizzle - 22nd March 2008

Outside Fantastic Furniture in Preston was the place to find the best sausages in town. The Cunningham family cooked up a storm for the passing traffic.

Toy Shopping for Christmas - 8th November 2007

Variety Toys in Clayton was a great place to get the kids Christmas shopping done in one place and at discounted prices.

The $5 entry ticket along with 10% of the total toy sales was donated to Rebalance the Globe.

A Night of Great Music- 26th October 2007

A great night was had by those attending Hardimans Hotel in Kensington, where Melbourne bands The Spiral, Dura and Misfit played the night away.

All funds raised on the night were donated to Rebalance the Globe, as the venue was generously donated, along with the bands time.

Women's Empowerment day - 15th September 2007

This women only event was a huge success, an inspiring day for all involved. We have had many requests to run this event next year so keep a look out for dates in 2008.

One Night One Bus – 14th July 2007

Great food and great entertainment and everyone had a chance to secure some fantastic goods and services at bargain prices with our Live and Silent Auction. Thanks to all who donated items for the auction. It was an extremely successful night. Thanks to the Retro for supplying a fabulous venue.

A Night At Nando’s – 18th June 2007

This fundraising event was an absolute blast! Our creative volunteers Daryl, Joe, Bruno and Angelo provided great entertainment both inside Nando’s with games as well as outside on the street handing out Nando’s meal vouchers. We raised over $400 at this event. A big thank you to Joe at Nando’s Flinders Street, Melbourne for his generosity and hospitality on the night. The food was plentiful and delicious!

Rebalance the Globe Launch – 16th May 2007

This event was the official beginning for our organization. We raised over $8,000 at this event and created a great platform for us to grow and create more awareness about our cause in India. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended and many of our esteemed volunteers came on board after this event.
